Fall River mother having cooking success whipping up dishes right from her home
FALL RIVER, MA/NASHVILLE, TN – A Fall River mom is finding success making tasty dishes right in her own kitchen.
Home cook Tara Pacheco was recently awarded blue ribbon number 7 by online recipe site “Just A Pinch”.
Pacheco’s “Grandpa’s Sweet Potato Fries” recipe was tested by the Just A Pinch Test Kitchen who released the following testing notes:
“Skip buying frozen sweet potato fries because they can easily be made at home. Once baked, they’re tender yet slightly crispy. With a hint of cinnamon and a touch of salt, they’re a healthier side dish.”
Among Pacheco’s award-winning recipes, besides the sweet potato fries, are pumpkin bread pudding, Chocolate Disgust (it isn’t at all disgusting), Portuguese Sweet Bread, White Sangria, Cupcake Martini, and Blueberry Hibiscus Sangria.
Fall River Reporter previously asked Pacheco how she got her start and how it was going.
“I got started several years ago when my daughter was younger. I was looking for new dishes to make at home, but then started sharing some of my recipes as well as family recipes and local favorites. My experience with the site has been great and has challenged me to be more creative when cooking and baking.”
Pacheco has shared 74 recipes already. If you would like to try some of her tasty treats, click here.
