Fall River, Massachusetts State Police, DEA charge three on drug related offenses

Fall River and Massachusetts State Police issued drug charges to multiple people on Thursday.

According to police, members of CAST and NEET, in collaboration with the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit and the DEA, conducted an operation resulting in an arrest and a summons.

41-year-old Jamarr Baskin was arrested, and 43-year-old Amber Souza (no mugshot) was summoned for Distribution of a Class B Drug (Crack Cocaine).

Based on further intelligence, 55-year-old Jorge Velazquez was located and arrested on 4 active warrants. He was additionally charged with Possession of a Class A Drug (fentanyl) and Possession of a Class B Drug (crack cocaine).

According to court records, Baskin pled not guilty Friday and was released on personal recognizance.

Velazquez also pled not guilty Friday and was being held on $2,500 cash bail.
