Fall River marijuana dispensary sets grand opening date
Fairhaven will no longer be the closest medical marijuana dispensary to Fall River as Northeast Alternatives has now officially set their opening date.
The Board of Health gave the official go ahead on Friday afternoon for the medical marijuana dispensary to open on June 30th. They are the first dispensary in the city to set an official grand opening date.
According to Rich Rosier, co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer , anyone with a non-expired registration to Massachusetts’ Medical Use of Marijuana Program and an active MA Patient ID card will be able to purchase medical marijuana during open business hours.
When a Patient or Caregiver arrives at the dispensary, they will be asked to show their MA Patient ID card and their valid driver’s license at the front door. Once admitted to the vestibule, a patient who is a new customer will be asked to complete and sign a new member form and an acknowledgment form which are both regulatory requirements from the state. Once completed, the Patient/Caregiver will be allowed entry into the dispensary. At that time, you can review their menu, pricing, and ask any questions. There is also a designated room reserved for private, one-on-one consultations, if preferred.
Patients/Caregivers will have the option of selecting from flower, edibles, concentrates, topicals, and oils. For the month of July, the location will be featuring other MA RMD medicine as NEA’s first harvest is still in production and will not be ready for sale until early August.
According to Rosier, their mission is to produce and dispense high quality cannabis and they look forward to helping champion the ongoing movement to legitimize the value of cannabis in today’s society.
Planned hours of operation are 7 days a week from 10 a.m.-6 p.m..
