Fall River man with ties to New York wanted on drug trafficking charges after failing to appear
A 56-year-old Fall River man facing indictments for heroin and cocaine trafficking failed to appear for the start of his Fall River Superior Court trial Monday and is now being sought by state and local police, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn announced.
Superior Court Judge Renee Dupuis issued an arrest warrant for Willie Young after he failed to appear in court Monday for the start of his trial.
Young was arrested in February of 2020 after a search warrant was executed at his McClure Place apartment. He had been free on personal recognizance while awaiting trial and is known to have ties to New York.
State and Local Police have been alerted to Young’s failure to appear for trial and efforts are being made to locate and apprehend him.
