A wanted Fall River man is facing new charges after a recent arrest.

According to police, on Sunday, members of our Community Action & Suppression Team were proactively patrolling the city when they received information that 35-year-old Robert Langlais was in possession of a significant quantity of suspected crack cocaine.

Langlais also had an outstanding warrant stemming from firearm-related charges from an arrest last November.

Detectives observed Langlais entering and exiting the backseat of a parked SUV on Parker Street. When approached outside the vehicle, Langlais fled on foot onto Globe Street. He is well known to CAST detectives for his preference for running. Detectives quickly closed the distance and Langlais surrendered.
