Fall River man transported by medical helicopter after vehicle overturned into home
A Fall River man was transported by medical helicopter over the weekend after a collision.
According to police, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Milford Massachusetts Public Safety Communications Center received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor-vehicle overturned into a residence on Jillson Circle.
On arrival, responders from the Milford Police Department, Milford Fire Department and Community Ambulance discovered the motor-vehicle had been turned right side up by bystanders with one occupant removed from the vehicle and one unresponsive male still inside.
According to The Milford Daily News, the Fall River driver and his passenger, both 62, were visiting family members at 28 Jillson Circle.
At this time the crash remains under investigation by CEMLEC accident recon but is believed to have been caused by a medical emergency suffered by the vehicle operator, who was transferred via LifeFlight to UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
