Fall River man sentenced to prison in Superior Court after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges
A Fall River man has been sentenced in Fall River Superior Court on drug charges.
According to police, in November of 2024, the Community Action & Suppression Team executed a search warrant at an apartment at 100 Green Street.
The target of the investigation was Shane Battle.
As a result of the warrant, Detectives seized: $2,696 in cash, 72.2g of cocaine, 11 Suboxone strips, 10 glassine bags of fentanyl, 70 Diazepam .5mg pills, and 69 Diazepam 10mg pills.
Battle was charged with Trafficking Cocaine Over 36g (Subsequent Offense), Possession Class A (Fentanyl), Possession Class B (Suboxone), and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class C (Diazepam).
According to court records, on Monday, Battle pled guilty to Possession of Class A (Fentanyl) and Trafficking Cocaine Over 18 Grams/Less than 36 Grams and was sentenced to not less than 3 1/2 years to not more than 5 years with credit of 207 days already served.
