Fall River man pleads not guilty in alleged Cape Cod rehab assault
A Fall River man has been arrested after allegedly hitting a man with brass knuckles at a Massachusetts drug rehab meeting.
According to The Cape Cod Times , Michael J. Pasaska, 36, appeared in court Thursday in Barnstable to plead not guilty to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and mayhem after, according to witnesses, he struck a man with brass knuckles during a group meeting at the Habit OPCO treatment center. The alleged incident took place December 21st.
According to a witness, Pasaska and another man got into an argument where the victim was looking for a fight. Police stated wounds to his head and ears were too severe for a closed fist.
A dangerousness hearing is scheduled for Pasaska on January 2nd.
