Fall River man pleads not guilty, held without bail, on drug and firearm charges

One of two men charged after an investigation by Fall River Police was arraigned Thursday in Fall River Superior Court.
According to police, on January 28th, during a continued investigation on Almy Street, Officers Kyle Raposo, Greg Homen, and Juan Rodriguez of the Patrol Bureau conducted a thorough investigation that led to the arrests of Joshua Dalton and Brandon Pacheco.
As a result of the investigation, officers seized two firearms, ammunition, a large quantity of fentanyl/crack cocaine/suboxone, and $5,000+ in cash.
30-year-old Brandon Pacheco was charged with Carrying a Firearm w/o LTC, Carrying a Loaded Firearm w/o LTC, Trafficking Class A, Trafficking Class B, and Possession w/ Intent to Distribute Class B.
36-year-old Joshua Dalton was charged with Possession of a Firearm w/o LTC and Possession of Ammunition.
According to court records, at an arraignment in District Court, Dalton pled not guilty and was issued $1,000 cash bail.
On March 6th, Pacheco was indicted in Superior Court on two drug trafficking charges, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Possessing Ammunition Without an FID Card.
On Thursday, Pacheco pled not guilty and is being held pending a dangerousness hearing on April 1st.
