Fall River man pleads not guilty, held without bail, in Superior Court on drug trafficking charges

A Fall River man has pled not guilty in Fall River Superior Court after being arraigned on drug trafficking charges.

According to police, on January 20th, investigators from the Community Action & Suppression Team (CAST) successfully conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of three individuals for trafficking cocaine and fentanyl.

Approximately 173.81 grams of crack cocaine/cocaine and approximately 122.9 grams of fentanyl were seized.

As a result of this investigation, 26-year-old Tarsha Sousa, 48-year-old Ryan Kitchen, and 30-year-old Kameron Sousa were arrested and charged with Trafficking Fentanyl 100 grams or more, Trafficking Cocaine 100 grams or more, and Conspiracy.

Sousa was arraigned Monday and was held without bail pending the results of a dangerousness hearing.

The investigation was led by CAST Detective Ken Medeiros.

Sousa’s next court appearance is schedule for next week.
