Fall River man pleads not guilty, held without bail, during arraignment on gun charges
A Fall River man has been arraigned on multiple gun charges.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, on August 1st, Investigators assigned to the Major Crimes Division developed information that 33-year-old Tri-Rell Jones was in possession of firearms. A search warrant was executed at his residence and a loaded Baretta pistol was recovered during the search.
Tri-Rell Jones was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm without an FID card, possession of ammunition without an FID card, and receiving stolen property under $1200.
On Monday, Jones was arraigned on the gun charges in Fall River Superior Court where he pled not guilty. He was held without bail pending the results of a dangerousness hearing.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for next month.
