A Fall River man is facing charges after a recent shooting in the city.
According to police, on Friday, Fall River Police Department CAST Detectives responded to Charlton Memorial Hospital following a reported shooting near the 200 block of Orange Street in Fall River. The male victim, identified as 22-year-old Jesus Santana, was found to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
During the course of the investigation, hospital staff turned over evidence removed from Santana’s person, including approximately 10.6 grams of suspected fentanyl and a wallet containing a large sum of cash.
