Fall River man held without bail after multiple shots fired damaged home
A Friday morning shooting has resulted in an arrested by Fall River Police.
According to police, on Friday, just after 5:30 a.m., officers from the Patrol Bureau, responded to the area of County Street and Eastern Avenue for multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots. One caller also reported a bullet hole in a wall in an Eastern Avenue residence. According to scanner transmissions, it was in the 200 block.
While en route, officers learned that 28-year-old Thaddeus Quinones, had called stating he fired shots at individuals following him.
Upon arrival, officers detained Quinones outside his residence. A review of multiple surveillance cameras revealed no evidence of anyone following Quinones.
A search warrant for the residence led to the discovery of two unloaded handguns, multiple magazines, and ammunition. Outside locations on Eastern Avenue yielded a 30-round magazine, three spent shell casings, and a bullet hole in a residence on Eastern Avenue. A spent casing was also located inside Quinones’s vehicle, which was towed for processing.
Quinones did not possess a License to Carry. He was arrested and charged with:
• Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm (x2)
• Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device (x2)
• Improper Storage of a Firearm (x2)
• Discharging a Firearm Within 500 Feet of a Dwelling
• Carrying a Firearm Without a License
• Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License
At Friday’s arraignment, Quinones pled not guilty and was held without bail.
He has a pretrial hearing scheduled for November 10th.
