Fall River man held without bail, after Fall River, Brockton, East Bridgewater, Massachusetts State Police investigation leads to seizure of nearly 4 kilos of fentanyl
A Fall River man is facing a drug trafficking charge after a recent arrest in the city
According to Fall River Police, the Fall River Police Department’s CAST Unit, in partnership with the Massachusetts State Police CINRET, Brockton Police Department, East Bridgewater Police Department and Homeland Security, recently concluded an investigation into a drug trafficking organization that led to the identification of the suspected supplier, 41-year-old Ramon Nieves.
On August 1st, investigative units executed multiple simultaneous search warrants on Nieves’s properties in Fall River, including his residence, two stash houses, and his vehicle. These searches resulted in the seizure of approximately 4 kilograms (~3,915 grams) of fentanyl, $8,000 in cash, and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking.

Ramon Nieves was arrested by the Massachusetts State Police and charged with Trafficking in Heroin/Morphine/Opium/Fentanyl, 200 Grams or More.
According to court records, at arraignment, Nieves pled not guilty and was held without bail pending the result of a dangerousness hearing.
Nieves has a pretrial hearing at the end of the month.
