Fall River man dead in Brockton shooting
State Police and Brockton Police are investigating the shooting death of a Fall River man overnight.
According to Timothy Cruz of the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Police responded at approximately 1:43 a.m. Saturday morning to 911 calls of shots fired in the area of Grand Street and Main Street. Police responded to the area and collected evidence as part of their investigation.
Around 5 a.m. today, Brockton Police received 911 calls reporting that a shooting victim was located behind 1040 Main Street. The victim was located and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton where he was pronounced dead.
The man has been identified as 31 year old Marco Rodrigues of Fall River.
An investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.
