Fall River man critically injured in Route 6 pedestrian crash
A Fall River man has been critically injured after a pedestrian crash on Thursday.
According to scanner transmissions and reports, 37-year-old Ryan Silvia was hit by a vehicle near the Moby Dick Motel on Route 6 (State Road).
The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
Silvia was reported to have a severe head injury and was flown by Medflight to Rhode Island Hospital and was last known to be in critical condition.
The vehicle involved, a white BMW, remained near the accident location and traffic was shutdown in the area by Dartmouth Police.
