Fall River man crashes into pole after reportedly failing to stop for Massachusetts State Trooper
A Fall River man has been issued a summons after a serious crash on Tuesday.
According to Lieutenant Paul Sullivan of Massachusetts State Police, at approximately 11:35 p.m., a 2019 Kia Optima operated by a 21-year-old Fall River man crashed into a telephone pole at the intersection of Bay Street and Globe Mill Avenue.
Police state that the driver luckily suffered only minor injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The operator was issued a criminal summons on the charges of Failure to Stop/Yield at a Stop Sign, Speeding, and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
