Fall River man arrested Wednesday on multiple gun charges
A Fall River man has been arrested on multiple gun charges.
According to Captain Jay Huard, on March 17, members of the Fall River Police Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a signed search warrant in the 200 block of Lowell Street with the named target of the warrant being 34-year-old Jamal King.
A search of the apartment was conducted and the following items were located and seized:
A Polymer 80, 9mm pistol PF940C
A SHK 9mm magazine with 33 round capacity
Seven rounds of 9mm ammunition
King was arrested on charges of Possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID card, Possession of ammunition without an LTC/FID card, and Possession of a large capacity firearm without an LTC/FID card.
Chief Cardoza stated, “Gun violence remains our top priority. The entire agency is committed to identifying those individuals that either possess or use illegal firearms in our community”.
