Fall River man arrested on several drug trafficking charges
A Fall River man was arrested on a multitude of charges Tuesday involving drug trafficking and firearms.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, Detective Gary Barboza, along with other members of the Fall River Police Vice and Intelligence Unit conducted a search warrant at 1603 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA.
A search of the apartment was conducted and the following items were located in the apartment and attached storage area:
35 blue glassine bags of suspected fentanyl
15 Alprozolam pills
4 Suboxone sublingual films
A plastic bag containing 21.3 grams of suspected crack cocaine
45.6 grams of suspected fentanyl
$3,496 seized U.S Currency
One large capacity feeding device which is made to contain 45 rounds of 5.56 ammunition.
Digital scale
Devyn Barbosa, 26, of Pleasant Street, was charged with Trafficking a class “A” substance over 32 grams, Trafficking a class “B” substance over 18 grams
Possession with intent to distribute a class “B” controlled substance, Possession of a class “E” controlled substance, and Possession of a large capacity feeding device.
