Fall River man arrested on multiple drug charges
According to Norton police, on Thursday, 10/12/2017, at 11:22pm, Norton Police Ptlm. Worrall and Ptlm. Precourt stopped a motor vehicle, heading eastbound on East Main Street, for an inspection sticker violation. While speaking with the operator, Michael Sacks, 28, of Fall River , the officers noticed a small bag in the vehicle of what appeared to be cocaine. After further investigation, he was placed under arrest. Officers found him to be in possession of cocaine, approximately one pound of marijuana and 100 packages of cannabis oil.
He was charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine), possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute (marijuana) and possession of a class C substance with intent to distribute (cannabis oil). He was held on $500 cash bail at the Norton Police Department. He will appear in Attleboro District Court this morning, 10/13/2017.
