Fall River man arrested in city shooting
A Fall River man has been arrested in a city shooting where upwards of 20 shots were fired.
According to Detective John Robinson, on Sunday, October 13th at 1:53 a.m, units responded to Latino’s Cafe parking lot for a fight and possible gunshots.
Several casings were located in the parking lot.
Officers learned that there was an altercation between a male victim and three Hispanic males who were in a white pickup truck. One of the three males fired a gun. One of the bullets struck a minivan once and approximately 18 other bullets struck the ground. The males in question fled the area.
After an investigation, MCD detectives were able to identify Carlos Martinez, 25, of 92 Harvard Street, as the shooter and take him into custody.
