Fall River man arrested for failure to appear for jury duty
DARTMOUTH, MA – On Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at approximately 8:25 a.m., Dartmouth Police were notified that a tent was located in the woods behind DeMello Elementary School.
Upon arrival, Officers Matthew Correia and Chris Flechsig located the tent and its two male occupants.
After conducting checks on both men, it was learned that one of them, James Curry, 31, had an outstanding default warrant for failing to appear for jury duty.
Based on the warrant, Curry was placed under arrest.
Prior to vacating the area, the tent was removed by the second occupant.
