Fall River man accused of stabbing former mayor Will Flanagan to appear in court on two separate matters
A Fall River man accused of stabbing former mayor Will Flanagan has two scheduled court appearances early next week.
31-year-old Corree K. Gonzales has a dangerousness hearing Monday morning in Fall River Superior Court on an alleged Assault with a Dangerous Weapon charge in a matter involving his mother.
Also on Monday morning, Gonzales has a hearing to review the status in Fall River District Court concerning 4 counts of Assault and Battery on a Police Officer when he was taken into custody concerning the stabbing of Flanagan.
Gonzales has not yet been arraigned on charges for the actual stabbing of Flanagan as he walked outside Cosmopolitan marijuana dispensary. He has been undergoing a mental health evaluation while in custody.
The suspect has a long documented criminal history.
