Fall River man accidentally shoots into neighbor’s apartment
Fall River Police responded to an apartment on Sunday after a reported accidental shooting.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 7:45 p.m., a licensed gun owner on North Main Street contacted the Department to advise that he had negligently discharged a round from his firearm while attempting to secure it. Officers responded to speak with the complainant.
All legally owned firearms were confiscated, pending review by the Department’s licensing officer.
According to scanner transmissions, the bullet discharged into the neighbor’s apartment.
No injuries were reported.
