Fall River Housing Authority asks landlords to defer Section 8 rent increases until further notice

Published

on

In a letter to Fall River landlords that accept Section 8 vouchers, the Fall River Housing Authority asked landlords to defer any rent increases until further notice.

It appears the request is being made because of a shortfall in federal funding from HUD. It’s unclear what happens if landlords do increase rents. Calls to the Fall River Housing Authority and Mayor Paul Coogan’s office were not returned to us at the time of this publication.
