Material Handler/Forklift Operator – Teufelberger Fiber Rope Corp
$15 an hour

Teufelberger Fiber Rope Corp. is hiring for a Material Handler to join the warehouse team at our manufacturing facility in the Fall River Industrial park. This is a full-time, permanent position on the 2nd shift (Monday – Friday; 3:20pm – 11:50pm).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering yarn and fiber to department locations.
• Handle requests for reels and corrugated materials.
• Pick-up finished goods from departments, scan and put away.
• Loading / unloading shipping trucks and assist in picking sales orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a warehouse environment required.
• Basic IT skills.
• Must be able to operate a Forklift, Order Picker, handheld RF Scanner and motorized Pallet Jack.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to successfully pass a Reading Comprehension and a Math competency test.
• Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow detailed operating instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly.
