To think of warmer days ahead, the Great Feast of the Holy Ghost New England will once again return to Fall River this summer.

According to the Feast Committee, the Feast will be returning to Kennedy Park from August 20th to 25th.

The Great Feast of the Holy Ghost is one of the most popular events in southern New England. So much so that parking passes need to be distributed to area residents.

The Feast showcases great food and music in addition to religious ceremonies across several days every year. Some of the previous performers include Marc Dennis, The Portuguese Kids, and Bobby Justin.

This year’s event will kick off on the 20th of August with the traditional blessing and serving of freshly made Holy Ghost soup.

Marcia Sousa Da Ponte was also sworn in this month as the new President of the Great Feast.
