Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Soren!

Soren is handsome and has already had quite some interest, however everyone is expecting him to be a social, outgoing guy that will be out and about and actively seeking affection and attention.

No.

That is not Soren.

Soren is an introvert to the extreme. Could that change? Sure. But you also need to go into this with the expectation that it won’t change and he’ll just be a shy guy because that’s just…who he is.

Soren is about five years old and a medium-sized kinda guy at about 12lbs. He’s handsome as hell and he knows it. He’s not much of an attention seeker but usually won’t say no to some affection if YOU go to HIM. He doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of other cats, but he isn’t outwardly aggressive…just sorta passive aggressive. Lots of hissing and grumbling and being visibly upset when they’re in his space. He rotates between tolerating their presence and being obviously annoyed by their existence. He would probably do best as an only cat or with a cat that will mind its own business and stay out of his space.

A quiet, calm, adult only home where he can be an only child would be ideal.

While he does enjoy cheek rubs and chin scratches, he will most likely never be a lap cat. There’s absolutely a chance that he could do a complete 180 and become a velcro cat but Forever Paws doesn’t want anyone going into this with the expectation that they can “fix him”. He doesn’t need “fixing”…well, he does need to be neutered still but you know what we mean.
