Fall River Forever Paws Sharona is a snuggler and a sucker for affection
Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Sharona!
FP has gotten a lot of snugglers lately and Sharona is one of them.
Sharona is about six years old and weighs just over 70lbs so she’s a giant jumbo baby. She’s a sucker for affection and melts like ice cream in the summertime once you start giving her love. She’s all about trying to crawl in your lap like she’s a 10lb yorkie instead of a 70lb pit mix and WILL cover your face in kisses if given the opportunity. She’s also prone to headbutting you until you pet her the same way a cat does and if you’re sitting next to her, your arm must be around her at all times. No exceptions.
A shy, sensitive princess at first, it doesn’t take her long to get comfy enough to roll tummy up for belly rubs. She likes being outside, whether it’s going for a walk or just lounging out in the sun. As far as going for walks, she’s really, really good on a leash, especially for a pup of her size. She’s more inclined to velcro herself to your legs than try and drag you across the yard.
Sharona does well with other dogs and actually came in with her sister, Bubbles, who is very similar in personality. They are not bonded but they do have the history of living with other dogs and doing well with them. Sharona is afraid of cats and since Forever Paws doesn’t have much of a history on her, they would prefer kids 12+ despite the fact that she’s a gentle, sensitive summer child who has never done a single thing wrong in her life ever.
Because she is a “restricted breed”, you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member.
