Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Noir!

Noir is a lab mix that originally came to Forever Paws as a tiny pup all the way from Puerto Rico. He’s juuuuuust under a year old (will be turning one in early January!) Unfortunately, his adopters’ circumstances changed so he came back to them so they could find him the perfect home. He weighs just over 41lbs and is (mostly) full grown at this point but may continue to fill out.

Noir is your typical happy, silly puppy that would fit into pretty much any active home. He loves other dogs and is super playful with them, plus a canine playmate will help him burn off some of that crazy energy that he has! He’s also good with cats and did live with them in his previous adopters’ home. Forever Paws would also be comfortable placing him with children because he’s such a friendly, happy boy. The only thing they’re really looking for is a family that will keep him active because, being a puppy, he’s got what feels like endless energy sometimes.

He’s definitely an extrovert that has no qualms about jumping up on you to say hello as soon as he meets you. He’s a well-rounded, well-socialized pup with decent manners and a good foundation for training. He knows his basics (sit, stay, come) and is relatively good on a leash except for when he suddenly gets the zoomies. He’s a big ol’ attention seeker that’s always happy to socialize and hang out with his people.

Noir does have some allergies and is prone to dry skin, so the vet has recommended keeping fish oil part of his diet and to avoid topical flea/tick prevention and only use oral prevention.
