Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Hugh!

Hugh is a 1000% certified good boy.

This sweet two-year-old lab mix weighs just under 60 lbs. and has been nothing but an absolute angel since he arrived at Forever Paws.

Surprisingly mellow for a guy his age, Hugh is the kind of guy that can get along with pretty much everyone. He’s all tail wags when he sees other dogs because he’s a social butterfly. With cats, he’s curious but definitely wary so dog-friendly cats that won’t terrorize him or beat him up would be best. Kids 10+ would be preferable – he’s calmer than you would think but they also don’t know his history and if he’s ever been around kids.

Hugh will probably be a pleasure to train – he already knows a whole bunch of cues and he’s incredible at making and keeping eye contact. He’s just a happy young guy looking for his family that can take him on hikes and trips to the beach and then let him snuggle in bed with them at night! He loves toys (as you can see) and he loves walks, but he can be a bit stubborn/pully, especially if he sees/smells something that he’s interested in.

All in all, Hugh is the best boy, and FP can’t wait for him to find his forever home because they KNOW that it’s out there!
