Fall River Forever Paws Hemingway is a sweet extrovert that wants to be the center of attention

Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Hemingway!
Hemingway is the poster child for braces and actually wearing your retainer once the braces come off.
Hemingway is a five year old American bulldog mix weighing about 73lbs so he’s a big, solid, sturdy boy with a big, solid, sturdy blockhead.
Despite his bulk, Hemingway actually isn’t terribly pully on a leash and is pretty good about minding his manners. He can, of course, get overly excited and then he starts chomping on the leash but with some training and regular exercise, he should get over that habit relatively quickly. He does well with other dogs but can come on a little strong at first, especially if the other dog is a pretty lady… Needless to say, he’ll be neutered soon. We aren’t too sure about cats yet but would err on the side of caution because, while he has a heart of gold, the light isn’t always on upstairs so he might not understand that “hiss, swat, growl” means “go away”.
Hemingway is super nosy and always has to know what’s going on around him at any given time. His favorite thing to do is give you his paw. Sit? No, give paw. Down? Nope, give paw. Etc, etc.
He’s a sweet extrovert that wants to be the center of attention and just look at that dopey smile. How can you not give him everything he wants?
Forever Paws would prefer kids 12+ because he was found as a stray, so they don’t know his history. Due to his breed, you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member.
