Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Falkor!

A giant fluffy polar bear to snuggle with just in time for the cold weather to start hitting us.

Falkor is a three-year-old Great Pyrenees and, no, it’s NOT just all fluff. He really is the size of a small horse. He weighs 113lbs AND he’s a little on the thin side so could stand to put on some more weight. He’s definitely taller than you think he is, especially when he stands on his back feet and suddenly, you’re having to look UP at him.

This guy is a known escape artist. He’s smarter than most people. If you think your yard is secure? Better go back and secure it AGAIN. Pretty sure Falkor just teleports or just thinks really hard about where he wants to go and then appears there because that’s the only explanation, honestly.

Falkor does well with other dogs and could care less about cats. One of Forever Paws’ sassier cats hissed at him, and he was just like, “Meh.” They would prefer older kids just because of his size and also, they don’t know if he’s ever been around kids. He’s a pretty high energy guy and definitely a goober, especially when balls or squeaky toys are involved. He’s a serial slapper. Excited? Slap. Wants to play? Slap. Saying hello? Slap. He loves people and his tail is pretty much always wagging. If he’s getting attention, all is right with the world.

Breed experience definitely preferred, and he is a heavy shedder so regular coat maintenance is a MUST.
