Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Dulce!

This little lady is so sweet that she’ll give you cavities.

There are less longing, yearning glances exchanged in Bridgerton than there are between Dulce and, like, everyone she meets.

Dulce is rainbows and heart eyes and sunshine and wants to spend her days just gazing into your eyes lovingly while you scratch her ears and tell her she’s the best girl in the whole world.

Dulce is an eight year old Podengo and she weighs around 36lbs. She’s a gentle soul and it shows in everything she does. She’s gentle on a leash, gentle taking treats, gentle when she jumps up on you…and she WILL jump up on you. As soon as she meets you. She’ll do the “run and jump” like it’s Dirty Dancing. Your entire life will turn into a romcom if you adopt this dog. She’ll want to be with you or on top of you or leaning against you at all times. Physical touch is definitely her love language.

(Is food a love language? Because food is also her love language.)

She has most likely had multiple litters throughout her life so Forever Paws is looking for a family that will spoil her absolutely rotten the way she deserves. She did previously live with other dogs and presumably did well with them and, while they haven’t officially tested her with other dogs yet, they haven’t seen any red flags. They aren’t sure that she even knows what a cat is because one of Forever Paws’ spicier cats (yes, Eclair…) hissed at her, she didn’t even blink. They don’t know if she’s ever been around children so they would prefer kids 12+ but exceptions may be made for the right family.
