Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet of the Week Bindi!

Don’t let this girl’s age fool you – she is still ALL cattle dog with all of the athleticism and sportiness that comes with it…along with being SO sweet that she’ll give you instant cavities.

Bindi is about seven years old and she’s just a bit over 41lbs. She’s a nervous girl at first and is on high alert at all times, taking in all of the sights and sounds and smells. Despite how nervous and uncertain she is, she’s been nothing but sweet and trusting, readily hanging out with people and letting Forever Paws do whatever they need to do.

She’s very good on a leash and showing definite progress as they work with her on her recall. She does well with other dogs and is INTENSELY curious about them but gets spooked the second they acknowledge that she exists…and then she’s right back to wanting to follow them around the moment they stop paying attention to her. She would most likely be fine with cats – Forever Paws has a feeling that she knows exactly what an angry cat is and exactly how sharp their claws are. Kids 12+ just because she IS nervous and younger kids may be too much for her.

As previously mentioned, Bindi is a sporty girl with tons of energy – she loves long walks, tennis balls, and the sound that squeaky toys make…but has no actual interest in the squeaky toys themselves. They would prefer a family with breed or similar breed experience as ACDs NEED to be kept mentally stimulated and have consistent, moderate to intense exercise to prevent anxiety/destructive behaviors.
