Fall River fixture, BayCoast Bank employee Doug (Dougie) Toupin receives distinguished award
SWANSEA, FALL RIVER, MA – Kind, helpful, and always greeting customers with a smile! If you’ve ever visited BayCoast Bank’s Troy Street branch, chances are, you know Doug Toupin. He’s the gentleman who cheerfully helps customers park their cars, so they can tend to their banking needs.
Toupin, a long-time Bank employee, has been the Parking Lot Attendant at the Fall River, MA, location since 2009. Beloved by colleagues and customers alike, Toupin recently received a distinguished honor, the Alves Award, recognizing his commitment to exceptional service for our South Coast community.
Awarded by Attleboro Enterprises, Inc., an organization that supports adults with disabilities, Toupin has spent his tenure at BayCoast exemplifying the Bank’s Mission and Core Values by truly taking pride in his work every day.

On December 11th, Toupin added another honor to his recent achievement. BayCoast Bank President and CEO Nicholas M. Christ, along with Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Marie Pellegrino, presented Toupin with a Certificate of Distinction, honoring his years of dedicated service.
“BayCoast isn’t just a bank, we’re a family, and we are extremely proud to honor Doug for his dedication, not just to our organization, but to the members of our community,” said Christ. “Doug is a hard-working colleague, but most importantly, he is our friend and we wish him many more years of happily greeting customers and improving their overall banking experience when they visit our Troy Street branch.” Adds Pellegrino, “If you see Doug at the branch, we hope you’ll take a moment to say hello, which would mean the world to him.”
The Alves Award is named in memory of John Alves, whose service on behalf of Attleboro Enterprises, Inc., was inspirational to participants of the program. The award is given to an individual who exemplifies the ideals by which John lived.
