Fall River firefighters, EMS, respond to fiery early morning rollover crash with injuries

Fall River crews responded to a serious collision early Saturday morning.

A call came into dispatch just before 12:45 a.m. for a fiery two-vehicle crash.

According to the Fall River Firefighter Union, members from Engine 2, Heavy Rescue 1, and Platform 1 responded to a serious rollover and vehicle fire on Davol Street near The Cove.

Scanner transmissions noted that the vehicle on fire did not have anyone trapped inside.

The union stated that one patient was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
