Fall River Firefighter Union: Four firefighters retire with over 120 years of combined service
Recently, the Fall River Firefighter Union announced that four members retired from the department. Each having over 25 years of service.
“Lt. Richard Pacheco – After 28 years of service, Richie completed his final shift. A Center firefighter from the start, much of his career was spent on Engine 3, where he set the standard for doing the job the right way. Dependable, direct, and steady, Richie was someone you could always count on.”
“FF Mark Midura – With more than 32 years on the job, Mark earned a reputation as one of the best pump operators around. Assigned for many years to Engine 9, his knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to teach made everyone better who worked with him. “
“FF Michael Cusick – Mike wraps up 35 years of service, many of them on Heavy Rescue 1. Known for his humor but trusted when things got serious, Mike was the kind of firefighter you always wanted by your side.”
“FF Todd Young – After more than 27 years of service, Todd finished his last day as an active member. He spent many years assigned to Heavy Rescue 1 and also served as an inspector in the Fire Prevention Bureau, bringing energy, knowledge, and commitment to every assignment.”
