Fall River Fire, Police, businesses, collecting toys to make Christmas brighter for area children
Before you know it, Christmas will be upon us, and several Fall River organizations are looking to brighten the holiday for families that could use a little help.
For the past two years Fall River Firefighters and Police Officers have teamed up to make a good number of local kids holidays brighter.
Fire Stations across the city have empty boxes ready to be filled up with toys for families in need. You can drop a new unwrapped toy at any Fire Station in Fall River. Those looking to donate can also drop off toys at the police station, Blessed Trinity Church, Standard Pharmacy on East Main Street, and Amaral’s Market from now until December 16th.
The wrapping of gifts will take place later this month at Blessed Trinity where they will be transported by the Fall River Police Department.
Anyone wishing to donate or be put on the list due to need can contact Sgt. Brett Kimball by email bkimball@frpd.org.
