Fall River Fifth Annual Back-to-School Block Party to feature food trucks, free school supplies, music, games, giveaways and more

(Fall River, MA) – The Annual Back-to-School Block Party is once again coming to Fall River.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at Kennedy Park from noon until 3:00 p.m.

Now in its fifth year, this free community event began in the summer of 2020 to cheer on participants of the Fall River Basketball Association Championships. It has since grown into a full-scale community event that attracts nearly two thousand people.

This year’s block party will include:

· Free School Supplies/Backpacks (while supplies last)

· Food Trucks (food available for purchase)

· Music

· Games

· Selfie Walls

· Community Partners

Several schools have also signed up to have a tent at the event.
