Fall River Police have made an arrest concerning an incident that allegedly took place on Monday morning.

Just after 10:30 a.m. the Fall River Police Department responded to a reported bank robbery at Rockland Trust Bank on Brayton Avenue.

According to police, a heavyset male entered the bank and passed a handwritten note to the teller demanding money. The suspect was provided cash, which included a concealed dye pack. Shortly after slowly jogging away from the bank on foot, the dye pack activated, marking both his hands and clothing with red dye.

The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. Responding officers quickly gathered a detailed description of both the individual and the vehicle, including its registration. This swift work allowed investigators to share the information in real-time, leading to the identification and location of the suspect in Providence.

41-year-old Agostini Poux Domingo was taken into custody in Providence and is currently being held pending a warrant request.
