Fall River Early Education Center that will accommodate over 200 children to break ground next week
Fall River – People Incorporated has announced that next week they will break ground on its Early Education Center, located on the Agency’s site at 145 Weaver Street in Fall River.
The future 20,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art center built on 4 acres will accommodate 212 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and it will provide modern early childhood rooms with ample space, innovative educational technology, and a blend of both indoor and outdoor learning settings. The $13.5 million facility will serve as a flagship location of the Agency’s Children’s Services Division. A Phase II addition would increase the capacity to 300 children.
People Incorporated announced in January of 2020 that they had purchased the land for the center on Weaver Street.
“Excited doesn’t begin to describe it,” said Megan Stirk, President & CEO of People Incorporated, referring to the upcoming groundbreaking. “So many of us have worked so hard to reach this point. Our children deserve this, and I can’t wait for them to see what a great education center they are going to have.”
People Incorporated is not ready yet to issue an exact date of completion.

“Thinking”
The State definitely needs more ‘Childcare Services Centers’ for Working MA legal citizens Family’s?
The Median Income in most of Massachusetts $65-#80,000 Dollars a Year.
In this ‘Horrible Economy’ how can a Working Family afford Childcare at $400.00 a Week per Child?, plus that on Top of everything else going WAY up. Almost #28% Inflation since the Biden/Harris and Dems took over.
If Gov. Healey and the DEMS can take care of these Folks, then they can take of “Great Americans’ in MA trying to carve out a living, surviving this ‘Awful Economy’.
