Fall River crews respond to afternoon pedestrian crash with injuries

Fall River crews responded to a collision involving a pedestrian on Monday afternoon.

After initial confusion from callers on where the incident took place, a call came in at approximately 1:30 p.m. for a female pedestrian injured in the area of 328 Rhode Island Avenue, Walgreens.

Scanner transmissions reported that the victim was bleeding from the head.

She was transported to a local hospital. Her condition is not known.

The incident is under investigation.
