Fall River crews respond after man injured, trapped under vehicle

Fall River personnel responded to an incident on Thursday evening with injuries.

According to scanner transmissions, just before 7:30 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a motor vehicle accident in the area of 29 Rolling Green Drive with a man possibly trapped under a vehicle.

The Fall River Firefighter Union announced that Engine 6, Platform 1, and Heavy Rescue 1 responded to South Winds for the reported person trapped beneath a vehicle.

Crews worked quickly to stabilize and lift the vehicle, freeing the trapped individual who was then turned over to EMS for evaluation and transport. 

The condition of the man wasn’t immediately available.
