Fall River crews respond after female injured in pedestrian and vehicle collision

Fall River personnel responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Friday morning.

According to scanner transmissions, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a call came in for a female pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle in the area of Troy and Pleasant Streets.

The female was injured and was reportedly lying in the road after being hit.

Upon arrival, crews found the victim still on the ground.

She was transported to an area hospital and her condition is not currently known.

The incident is under investigation.
