Fall River COVID-19 cases pass 2,350 in today’s report

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s report.

According to the mayor’s office, 2,351 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 21 case increase.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 136.

Friday saw 6 COVID-19 cases. 45 cases were announced for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The report on Tuesday revealed 8 cases. Wednesday saw 27 cases of COVID-19.

Mayor Coogan, in a press conference Tuesday, revealed the reasons for the City’s increase in cases and updated residents on the current red status.

Today, the Fall River Board of Health issued Halloween guidance which suggests avoiding trick-or-treating.
