Fall River Christmas Light Show to bring Santa, drive for less fortunate
The Christmas spirit will be alive and well at the Pereira’s Christmas Light Show at 481 Ridge Street. Soon you will be able to watch the lights dance along with synchronized music being broadcast at the home or tune in using your car radio.
We asked the Pereira’s what is in store for this year. “We have added more lights this year and we will have some fun surprises for the kids. We should have the lights on by Friday.”
The Pereira’s are also helping to give back while providing an entertaining light show, Santa, and some hot chocolate for their 3rd annual hot chocolate with Santa event.
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday December 1st.
Santa will be joining the Pereira’s from approximately 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Feel free to bring your camera or phone to take pictures with Santa. The event is free!
There will be some arts and crafts for the kids and also some blank stationery to write Santa a letter. There will be a mailbox for the letters to Santa and if the parent/child writes their return address, Santa will respond back to the child.
You can also help them give back. This year will be their 2nd year filling stockings for the less fortunate children. Help bring some Christmas cheer to some children who could use it! You can donate stocking stuffer item(s) to help fill stockings. No donation is too small. Last year the Pereira’s were able to fill 80 stockings. They will also be collecting new hats, gloves and mittens for the children.
Donations can be dropped off at the event or anytime from now until Saturday, December 8th at Ultra Tan, 421 Second Street, Fall River. Donations are not mandatory.
