Fall River catering and food truck business closing soon, owner headed to another company
A Fall River food truck and catering company is closing.
In a social media post, Carla DiCorpo, owner of Green Jar Catering & Cocina, announced that due to personal reasons, the business will no longer be operating after this month.
“I cannot even to begin to express my thanks to everyone that has supported me. To the customers that became friends, and so many that became family. It is a hiccup in the road, but I know that the vision of this company will re-emerge better soon enough!”
Green Jar, which has had a home base out of Locust Street, provides both corporate and private catering with menus tailored for each customer. They have also operated a taco food truck at multiple locations in the Fall River area.
DiCorpo will be working with another yet to be named company and told customers to contact her for any catering needs.
Recent tenants at Green Jar’s current home include 609 Locust Street Kitchen and Your Way restaurant.
