Fall River cases of COVID-19 pass 7,050, deaths reach 209

Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

According to the Mayor’s Office, 7,065 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 57 case increase since Monday.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 209 as one new death was reported today. A death was also reported over the weekend. The City had been notified of 3 more fatalities Friday and 4 more fatalities Tuesday. There were 6 fatalities over last weekend.

On Wednesday, 129 new COVID-19 cases were revealed. 90 cases were reported on Thursday. Friday saw a record 211 cases. On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, there was a 219 case increase.
