Fall River Back-to-School Block Party to feature food trucks, free school supplies, music, games, giveaways and more

(Fall River, MA) – The Annual Back-to-School Block Party is once again coming to Fall River.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 10th, at Kennedy Park from 12:00 p.m. until roughly 4:00 p.m. (end time is dependent on supplies).

Fall River Public School Staff will be in attendance and available to support students and their guardians to prepare for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Now in its fourth year, this free community event began in the summer of 2020 to cheer on participants of the Fall River Basketball Association Championships. It has since grown into a full-scale community event that attracts nearly two thousand people.

This year’s block party will include:

· Free School Supplies (while supplies last)

· Food Trucks-Pizza Hut, Supa Dupa, Cool Licks Ice Cream, County Fare Hot Dogs (food available for purchase)

· Music

· Games

· Giveaways

· Community Partners
